School Program Coordinators are staff who provide Girl Scout programs to girls in an after school setting. Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada provides leadership programs for over 30 schools in the Las Vegas valley. We are looking for motivated, creative staff to mentor these girls and facilitate the Girl Scout Leadership experience directly after school at their school. Training is provided.

What we are looking for:

· School Program Coordinators must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with their own transportation.

· Strong oral communication skills and ability to speak in public

· Ability to organize and work with girls and adults

· Maintain a flexible schedule, travel locally, and attend activities as required

· Must be able to work from lesson plans

· Pass a background check

· Bilingual candidates desirable

What you would do:

· Coordinators are responsible for managing the delivery of Girl Scout program in the community.

· Maintaining accurate documentation of attendance of participants and provide other required reporting

· Directly supervise girls

· Ensure program site and supplies are properly maintained

· Ensure communications and resources are delivered to participants and parents

· Maintain a professional appearance

HOURLY PAY: $ 8-10 PER HOUR, DOE, MAXIMUM OF 1000 HOURS PER 12 MONTH PERIOD

POSITION IS NON-EXEMPT, TEMPORARY PART-TIME

EMPLOYEE MUST PROVIDE OWN TRANSPORTATION
