“Share the Season” Holiday Patch Program 2010

 

To earn the patch, troops must do the following:

 

Participate in a Discover, a Connect and a Take Action activity relating to the holidays. Suggestions for activities follow, or you may come up with your own based on the Girl Scout outcomes.

 

Discover – Do a troop activity to learn about holiday customs of other cultures, countries or religions. Reflect on the activity and your own personal experiences in an age-appropriate discussion that may include feelings, the way that the Girl Scout Promise and Law can be part of you holiday spirit, effect of media/retailers/others on the holidays, or healthy attitudes or choices at holiday times.

 

Connect – Participate in a community holiday activity or event.
