Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada works in partnership with the Las Vegas Jewish Committee on Scouting to promote Jewish award programs and religious services to Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, and to work in cooperation to extend Girl Scout opportunities in the Jewish community.

CALLING ALL JEWISH SCOUTERS!

Conference Fee: $36.00 covers Breakfast, snacks, and lunch plus conference materials.

$54.00 if received after Sept 7.

Program Specifics: The formal conference program is preceded by coffee, tea, juice, bagels and a smear. Exhibits and trading post will be open. We will have a kosher lunch included in the $36 conference fee.
Who Should Attend: Scouters from all over the Western Region (and beyond) associated with Dens, Packs, Troops and Crews with Jewish Scouts, all members of Council JCoS committees, potential new unit sponsors and Scout Professionals interested in increasing council membership.
Conference Tracks will include sessions on:
• Organizing/rejuvenating a Council JCoS
• Forming new Jewish units, conducting a religious emblems workshop
• How to do a Kinus
• The needs of Shomer Shabbat scouts and units
• Building relationships
• Resolving calendaring conflicts
• Providing Jewish Chaplain service
• Marketing the NJCoS brand
• Reaching out to Jewish Scouts in non-Jewish Units.
In addition, we will have the first annual CHAI Award presentation – only presented at WR JCoS Annual Conference
