Hello Everyone,
A few years ago when my troop was Bridging from Brownies to Juniors we did this beautiful ceremony, see below, that both the girls and their families loved. I just wanted to share it with you so you could use it!!!

Rainbow Candle Ceremony

Use 12 candles of the colors listed below (or tie a ribbon of each color to white candles). One by one, each person steps forward to light a candle and read the words appropriate to their candle.

Silver-stands for the morning, the beginning of a new day, when each day presents another challenge.

Yellow-Stands for daisy, the beginning of Girl Scouting.

Pink-Stands for all the girls in Girl Scouting.

White-Stands for the purity in every Girl Scouts heart.

Red - Stands for the courage and strength of character of Girl Scouts everywhere.

Gold-Stands for the Trefoil pin that reminds us of our Girl Scout Promise.

Purple-Stands for the horizon, the future toward which we look.

Turquoise-Stands for water, which sustains life in addition to giving us pleasure.

Brown-Stands for earth upon which we live.

Green-Stands for all plant life which beautifies our earth.

Blue-Stands for our sky, under which we all are united by our ideals.

Orange-Stands for a sunset, which signifies the closing of another day.
